  • 🇯🇵️ 日本沈没

    Nippon Chinbotsu, aka Japan Sinks

    artworkDescription

Sakyo Komatsu’s award winning book about a natural disaster that eventually sinks Japan. A bit of a slog. It reminded me of the same satirical theme of Shin Godzilla but told at a glacial pace. It felt like I put it down more than I picked it up. The payoff at the end was worth it brought even more to life by the reality of the 2024 Noto earthquake aftermath.
