   That moment of confusion when you accidentally visit localhost in your browser and your Eleventy site is up despite it not being built locally. You then recall @adactio@mastodon.social helped you setup an offline service worker and what you’re actually visiting are cached pages. Then come the warm fuzzy feelings.

2. Trying out Kagi

   Thanks to j98@fosstodon.org I’m continuing my Big Tech Exorcism™ by trialing the independent search engine Kagi (https://kagi.com/) for 3 months. Friends don’t let friends get tracked.

3. Adding some fun things to my website

   Reading @adactio@mastodon.social’s recent Going Offline post https://adactio.com/journal/21578 reminded me that I needed to fix my /offline/ page after I ported my site from Jekyll to Eleventy. I’ve also added j98@fosstodon.org and @trys@mastodon.social’s Utopia https://utopia.fyi albeit in a very minimal implementation. Of course now I want to refactor everything about my site!
